Disheng Technology’s UV Absorber UV-1164 Selected as a 2025 Provincial New Product for Materials Industry

Recently, the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology officially released the 2025 Fujian Province List of New Products for Materials Industry. Disheng Technology’s independently developed triazine-type UV absorber DSunsorb UV-1164 was successfully selected for its outstanding performance and broad application prospects.

As a triazine-type UV absorber, DSunsorb® UV-1164 has become an indispensable additive in many polymer material applications thanks to its outstanding UV absorption efficiency, thermal stability, low volatility, excellent dispersibility, and strong resistance to photodegradation.

In addition, DSunsorb® UV-1164 shows excellent tolerance to metal ion residues and only weakly interacts with residual catalysts. As a result, it maintains performance and color stability even in polymers containing transition-metal catalyst residues – making it one of the essential additives for the production of transparent and light-colored materials.

DSunsorb UV-1164 delivers superior weatherability enhancement across multiple polymer systems, including POM, PA, PC, PE, PET, ABS, and PMMA.
